This coffee is part of the “Swiss Water Small Batch Series”, a program consisting of limited offerings that feature highly traceable and very delicious specialty decaf coffee.
This coffee is grown between 1850 - 2000 MASL, under the cover of Acacia trees on Ibrahim Hussein’s privately owned estate in Limmu Kosa. Ibrahim Hussein is a third generation coffee farmer who grew up on his grandfather’s coffee farm very close to where his farm is now. He has established Burka Gudina to be a well respected source of quality coffees, as he understands the key components to developing consistent quality coffee year after year. Ibrahim invests in his team of farmers and pickers who manage his estate by organizing regular workshops and trainings, paying them competitively high wages. His focus on maintaining a happy team and producing high quality coffee has earned Burka Gudina its reputation that it has today.
