Héctor Ricardo Leal Pivaral
In 2013, La Laguneta was purchased by Mr. Héctor Ricardo Leal Pivaral. Since then, work has been underway to replant and restructure the farm, as it had been abandoned at the time when Mr. Hector took over ownership.
Currently, the farm is being replanted with new and non-traditional varieties, and the team is implementing drying techniques such as raised African beds and greenhouses. Projects on the horizon include exploring new processing techniques starting with the production of naturally processed coffees which is already underway with more to be expected in the years to come!
