The El Cerro farm has its name because it is located in the lower part of the Cerro Gobia natural park. This coffee is produced by Oscar Javier Paez, Adelaida Aroca and his sons Emily, Madelyn and Yulian. Oscar ad his family are fifth generation coffee producers who are passionate about coffee and are working hard to improve their quality year after year. Their harvests are small but they do not have the facilities on their farm to process the coffee after it has been picked and they rely on friends and family on neighbouring farms to process for them. For this reason they are working to improve the conditions on their farm in order to build what they need to be able to store and process coffee at El Cerro.

El Cerro is shaded by native trees like cedar, vanilla and avocado and they grow other crops such as avocado, banana, casava, beans and corn.
