Hunter Tedman + Linda Arauz

Panama might be best known for gesha, but farms like Hacienda Barbara prove that traditional varieties can be just as exciting. Grown in the rich volcanic soils of Boquete, this catuai shows off the kind of balance and depth that made Panama famous long before auctions and hype.

Hacienda Barbara is run by Hunter Tedman and Linda Arauz, a duo known for quietly doing everything right. From thoughtful farming to meticulous washed processing, their focus is always on clarity, consistency, and letting the land speak. That care has paid off, with repeated top placements at the Best of Panama competition since their very first entry in 2016.

In this cup, you’ll find smooth caramel sweetness, a touch of orange, and gentle red apple woven through a warm, rounded finish. It’s familiar in the best way, thoughtfully made, easy to love, and endlessly drinkable.
