Jairo Arcila

Jairo Arcila is a longtime producer in Colombia, known for his curiosity, consistency, and willingness to lean into flavour. At his farm Villarazo, Jairo focuses on small, carefully managed lots that highlight both variety and process, with each coffee treated as its own little experiment.

This Pink Bourbon goes through a dry aerobic fermentation before resting in GrainPro at cool, controlled temperatures, then finishes drying on raised beds. The result is a coffee that feels deliberate and dialled in, where fermentation adds depth without taking over the spotlight.

Pink Bourbon itself is a bit of a mystery, with its origins still being studied, but it has earned a reputation for vibrant, expressive cups. Paired with Jairo’s thoughtful approach at Villarazo, it lands squarely in Super-fruity Adventures territory and is a great example of how fun and refined Colombian naturals can be.
