This coffee is part of Daterra’s Masterpiece collection- an exclusive auction lot showcasing some of Brazil’s most innovative coffees. We had the privilege of winning this lot at Daterra’s 2024 auction, where all proceeds were reinvested into coffee research. Guerreiro is beautifully complex and intensely fruit-forward, with notes of tropical fruit, strawberry, and kiwi that shine in every sip.

Each coffee in this year’s auction was named after a pioneer in Brazilian coffee research. Guerreiro honours Oliveiro Guerreiro Filho, an agronomist whose work in coffee genetics has improved disease resistance and quality. The variety, Paraiso, is a cross between a Timor hybrid and Yellow Catuai, combining resilience with remarkable sweetness and complexity.

Daterra is one of the most forward-thinking coffee producers in the world. They were the first Brazilian farm to earn Rainforest Alliance certification and are a carbon-negative operation. We’re also proud to support their Tree_llion project, which aims to plant one trillion trees. With every bag of Daterra coffee sold, a portion of the proceeds goes toward global reforestation efforts, making each cup a step toward a greener future!
