In 2018, Edinson and Luz Argote took a leap, starting their own farm with the support of Luz’s father and a deep commitment to quality coffee. With Edinson’s background in coffee production and a passion for innovation, they built Quebraditas into a place where careful farming and advanced processing come together.
Their approach combines thoughtful agronomy—focusing on soil health, shading, and varietal selection—with precise fermentation techniques like thermal shock processing. This method enhances the coffee’s clarity and vibrancy, highlighting the unique characteristics of each harvest.
This is our first year working with Edinson and Luz, and we’re excited to share this incredible Sidra variety. Their dedication to experimentation and craft shines in every cup, and we can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us.
