Las Mishas

Las Mishas comes from the high mountain communities of Bomboca and Vista Alegre in Jaén, a region in northern Peru known for clean, fruit-forward coffees. The combination of altitude, cool nights, and volcanic soil gives cherries plenty of time to ripen, building that classic Peruvian clarity with sweet apple acidity, balanced structure, and a touch of cocoa warmth.

This lot is a collaboration between 37 organically certified smallholders who continue to grow traditional varieties like Bourbon. With the support of Origin Coffee Lab, producers here access workshops, quality feedback, and transparent pricing, helping them refine processing and maintain long-term sustainability. Each farmer’s lot is tasted individually before being selected for the blend, ensuring that every component meets the same standard.

A short fermentation in cherry before washing creates the “Fruta Madura” character this coffee is known for with ripe fruit sweetness and a clean, composed finish. It’s an expressive yet easy favourite for anyone who loves the sweeter side of Fruity Classics.
