However, our sourcing model is more than just travelling around the world to find great coffee.

We aim to foster traceable, personal relationships with producers and the people responsible for our coffee, at every step of the supply chain. These connections must be meaningful, with our involvement always adding value to our partners.

As a roaster, we have a responsibility to ask ourselves how we can serve our producing partners. This involves listening to the unique needs of the producers and finding a way that we can serve them. This might mean committing to a farmer’s entire production to give them stability, assisting with community development projects, or understanding the true challenges of being in coffee production and working together to address them. But at the bare minimum, we serve our producing partners best by paying the highest prices that we can for their coffee, that covers their cost of production and rewards them for exceptional quality and effort.

The heartbeat of our coffee program is our commitment towards an exceptional level of coffee quality, working with producers that approach everything they do with excellence. These are coffees that are not only incredibly sweet, clean and balanced, but have wonderfully expressive  intensity of flavour that tell the story of the variety, processing, soil and effort behind them.

As our relationships grow each year, we continue to learn how we can continue to improve. Not only in the quality of the coffee, but in how we serve and continue to build community with our producing partners.

Wholesale Sales + Relationship Manager

We are hiring for a Wholesale Sales and Relationships Account Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to take care and support our wholesale partners serving and selling our coffee around the world. This involves developing meaningful relationships with all our accounts, constant, consistent communication, meeting all of their needs and wants and finding solutions to any issues that arise. This is an exciting, people-focussed role immersed in the coffee and hospitality industry with lots of opportunity for growth.

Specifically, your tasks may include:

• onboarding and setting up new accounts
• using customer relationship management tools
• developing meaningful relationships with all new and current accounts
• learning about the business and communities of our wholesale partners
• doing things big and small that help keep our partners happy
• helping accounts with placing orders
• keeping in constant communication with all accounts and finding ways that we can improve our partnership
• business development strategies to increase orders from current accounts
• collaborating with the marketing department on wholesale specific promotions
• sending weekly newsletters and communicating large scale program changes
• solving issues (whether directly or coordinating) in a timely manner
• listening and addressing any concerns accounts may have
• helping setup and coordinate promotional support or events that collaborate with wholesale accounts
• face to face visits of all our wholesale accounts, across the country
• in addition to others
