Every season, we pride ourselves on being able to present to you some of the world’s most delicious coffees, freshly harvested and processed by people who care deeply about producing exceptional coffee for you and I.

However, our sourcing model is more than just travelling around the world to find great coffee.

We approach our sourcing model and philosophy through the framework of our values.

We aim to foster traceable, personal relationships with producers and the people responsible for our coffee, at every step of the supply chain. These connections must be meaningful, with our involvement always adding value to our partners.

As a roaster, we have a responsibility to ask ourselves how we can serve our producing partners. This involves listening to the unique needs of the producers and finding a way that we can serve them. This might mean committing to a farmer’s entire production to give them stability, assisting with community development projects, or understanding the true challenges of being in coffee production and working together to address them. But at the bare minimum, we serve our producing partners best by paying the highest prices that we can for their coffee, that covers their cost of production and rewards them for exceptional quality and effort.

The heartbeat of our coffee program is our commitment towards an exceptional level of coffee quality, working with producers that approach everything they do with excellence. These are coffees that are not only incredibly sweet, clean and balanced, but have wonderfully expressive  intensity of flavour that tell the story of the variety, processing, soil and effort behind them.

As our relationships grow each year, we continue to learn how we can continue to improve. Not only in the quality of the coffee, but in how we serve and continue to build community with our producing partners.

Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

We’re looking for an energetic and creative Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to help us grow Monogram and take our brand into the next chapter. The challenge? Creating content and strategy that sparks people’s imagination and bringing them together, through coffee.

As Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible to create, oversee and execute marketing campaigns that help grow the business goals of all the business units, and tell the story of Monogram. You will also be responsible for copywriting, creating content and project managing these campaigns. You will also have the responsibility and freedom to create a social media strategy, specifically focussing on TikTok and Youtube, in addition to Instagram. Other responsibilities include assisting with any other promotional needs, both digitally, in-store, or with events. You will work closely alongside our Art Director and report to the co-founder.

What skills we need:

• Social Media Savvy - IG, Youtube, TikTok - know it well and know what’s coming up
• One Step Ahead - whether it’s TikTok trends, featured music, or the latest algorithm changes, you need to be on it!
• Project Management - marketing campaigns can’t run themselves

Some of your tasks:

• Identify opportunities or gaps and create marketing campaigns to help address them
• Champion our marketing campaigns by implementing an effective strategy across all touch points of the campaign
• Project manage all tasks, deadlines and people involved in the campaigns
• Plan and Create content to help support marketing campaigns across our 3 brands
• Copywriting
• Short form videos: IG Reels, Stories, TikTok content
• Coordinating with Art Director and designers for visual assets

• Updating our websites to reflect current marketing campaigns

• Manage and run all social media platforms across our 3 brands

Requirements

• 2-5 years in a marketing position
• a ‘portfolio’ of your work, whatever shape that looks like. A collection of project management and organization examples mixed with content creation examples on Tik Tok, YT and IG.
• a short writeup as to why this position / company is a good fit for you
• experience with Shopify, Square, Klaviyo, Later, Mailchimp is considered an asset
