Carlos Cadena is part of a new generation reshaping what Mexican coffee can taste like. As a third-generation producer, he brings both family tradition and fresh ambition to his two farms, Finca Pocitos and Finca Huehuetepan. His curiosity shows in every decision, from variety selection to fermentation, and it has helped his coffees gain serious momentum on the world stage.

This lot features Mundo Maya, an F1 hybrid born from a timor line and an Ethiopian heirloom variety. It is known for resilience and high yield, but in the right hands it becomes so much more. Carlos leans into its fruit-forward potential with a natural anaerobic process: 72 hours of controlled fermentation in sealed plastic tanks, followed by slow drying on raised beds to lock in clarity and sweetness.

Playful, juicy, and wonderfully expressive, this coffee brings together blood orange sparkle, soft melon, and a ripple of cherry sweetness in a lively Superfruity Adventure.
