Nahun Fernandez

Nahun Fernandez’s coffee story starts early. At just 16, he began working independently on an old family farm in Honduras, trekking two hours on foot to reach the land and learning firsthand what it takes to grow coffee in tough conditions. It wasn’t easy, but it was the start of something special.

After a few years of hard work, Nahun saved enough to buy his own two-hectare plot nearby and kept refining his approach. In 2007, his coffee caught the attention of the San Vicente Mill, where it was flagged for its specialty potential. That same year, Nahun placed in the top 20 at the Honduran Cup of Excellence, opening the door to selling his coffees as small, carefully produced microlots.

Today, Nahun works side by side with his siblings and father at Finca Don Andres, sharing the wet mill, drying stations, and the day-to-day work that keeps everything moving. That close-knit collaboration shows up in the cup, delivering a natural coffee that’s bold, expressive, and right at home in our Superfruity Adventures lineup.
