Nestled in the volcanic soils of Acatenango, Guatemala, La Laguneta is a farm reborn through the dedication of Mr. Hector Ricardo Leal Pivaral, who purchased the property in 2013 and set out to replant and restructure it. Today, the farm thrives with a mix of Bourbon, Catuai, and Caturra varieties, alongside new, non-traditional plants. Innovative drying methods, including raised African beds and greenhouses, nurture the coffee’s rich, nuanced flavours.

The washed process brings out La Laguneta’s balanced character, with sun-dried beans that preserve their natural sweetness. You can expect smooth flavours of milk chocolate, almond, and caramel in every cup. The farm is also exploring naturally processed coffees, promising an exciting future for the coffee they produce.
