In this class we’ll start from the beginning and talk about coffee’s journey from seed to cup. One you’ve learned a little bit about coffee, we’ll dive into cupping, which is how the industry evaluates and scores coffees. Together we will walk through the process of cupping, explaining why and how to cup coffees, while evaluating a curated selection of coffees.
We will spend time discussing each of the coffees in depth, to learn about what makes them unique and how origin, variety and processing contribute to the cup. This is a great opportunity to start to develop your palate and increase your knowledge on both a micro and macro level.
To make your experience even more memorable, each participant will receive a free bag of coffee to take home. This carefully selected coffee will let you put to practice what you’ve learned in the comfort of your own home.
No coffee or barista experience is required for this class! It makes a great gift to friends or family, can be a really fun team building activity, or to increase your own skills and knowledge.
