Hailing from the heart of Paris, France, KAWA Coffee is a cornerstone of Europe’s vibrant third-wave coffee culture. Founded in 2016 by Alexis Gagnaire, KAWA emerged to fill a gap in the Parisian coffee scene, which, at the time, had little to offer for specialty coffee enthusiasts. Today, KAWA is a driving force behind the growing appreciation for specialty coffee in France, offering a diverse range of beans from casual sippers to rare, competition-level coffees- all at accessible prices.

KAWA’s journey is marked by excellence and passion. Co-founder Alexis Gagnaire has earned an impressive reputation in coffee competitions, including a third-place finish at the 2019 World Aeropress Championship and a silver medal in the 2021 French Roasting Championship. He says, “A rainbow of coffee experiences at KAWA Coffee must encourage us to enjoy being ourselves, being different.”

At its core, KAWA is inspired by its community of coffee lovers. Their greatest joy comes from seeing people fall in love with coffee and enjoying it at home.
